In a ground-breaking development that marks a significant milestone in Ukraine's reconstruction efforts, the country's first 3D printing house has been built near Irpin. This innovative project, sponsored by Matin West Group, is a beacon of hope and technological progress in the face of ongoing conflicts. Built for the family of slain soldier Yaroslav Berezov, this house is not only a technological masterpiece, but also a moving symbol of resilience and recovery.
The construction of this pioneering house was a collaborative effort involving more than 100 partners, led by the United Initiative to Aid the Embrace the Nation Foundation. At the heart of this 3D project was UTU, which used the first Ukrainian construction 3D printer to create the structure. The printing process itself was very efficient and the 130 square meter house was printed in just 58 hours. This rapid construction required 72 metric tons of a specialized quick-setting cement and sand mix, demonstrating the potential of large-scale and rapid housing solutions in post-conflict reconstruction.
